Customer:Nice little smart plugs. I've been using these for about a month, but it was rather heavy usage during the Christmas season. I had trouble with one loosing its connection for a short time one evening, but I unplugged it and plugged it back in and has worked fine since then. It is very interesting to see the energy usage of the item plugged into each of these. Now I can show my family members how much they are costing me by leaving the items on instead of turning them off! They are easy to setup but the only confusion that I had was which app I should use. There are two apps available that do the same thing so I've been trying both of them to see which one that I like best. Works great with Alexa!
1.Question: I have power strips that work a couple of lights. Can I plug power strips into this outlet?
Answer: I’m using mine differently, plugging the outlet to the strip. I believe it should work, as long as the “loss” of power to the strip isn’t a result of a surge, which would require you resetting the strip. I would liken this as you losing power and the strip stops working, but once power is restored, the strip starts
2.Question: Will these all work in unison? I want to make several plugged in lamps go on/off at the same time as a group...
Answer: Yes they will
3.Question: Does this work with Logitech Harmony?
Answer: I don't know. I've only tried it with Amazon Alexa, and it works great there.
4.Question: Do the timers work without wifi? i want to turn off my modem and router at night and have it on by the time i come home from work.
Answer: Dear customer, the schedule can work without wifi. When you lose your wifi connection, the schedule will still work to turn your device on/off. Besides, please kindly note that the plug reconnects a few minutes after the router restarts.
